Our Pier 2 Carnival backdrop is the perfect, vibrant background to bring life to your next event or party! We love this iconic pier in Santa Monica. There are so many fun activities for people of all ages to enjoy. From the ferris wheel to the roller coaster to the restaurants and ice cream shops, there is so much to enjoy. We cannot believe that it’s almost October! Of course, that means Fall, cooler weather, and Halloween just around the corner! No matter how you celebrate Halloween, there’s always a hand-painted backdrop that can completely transform your experience.

New Hand Painted Backdrops – September 2015

Our inspirational graphic designers and talented artists have created some unique and vibrant backdrops during the month of September! We’re so excited to have these backdrops available to be rented or purchased for your upcoming dance recital, special event, theatrical production, or to be placed in your studio!

Xmas Home 8 backdrop - 40x20 i

Our newly painted Christmas home backdrop showcases the ideal interior during the magical winter nights of December. With the snow outside the window and the moonlight shining down, this backdrop emanates a feeling of warmth and comfort to be inside. The Christmas Tree is adorned with effervescent lights and vibrant ornaments. It’s topped with a prominent yellow star and surrounded by a plethora of presents for all that live within this home. The fireplace is generously decorated with a greenery and topped with a festive wreath above. This is perfect for any Nutcracker ballets, Holiday events, or Christmas themed performances!

This was a custom rental that we designed together with a customer for a Bar Mitzvah to celebrate his love for skateboarding and passion for street art. What person that loves skateboarding wouldn’t want this at their event or party? This backdrop creates a fun and playful atmosphere and looks wonderful as a background in pictures, video, and in person!

Dance is your Art, Backdrops is ours!

Dance 17 Urban Backdrop!

We had such a great time over the last few months traveling all over the states for one of our favorite industries: DANCE! We met so many ambitious, creative, and amiable dance teachers and studio owners during our travels. Our first stop along the Dance wave was Dance Teacher Summit in Long Beach, CA. What a fun vibe to be around so many people that are passionate about dance and are eager to learn about the next best thing in the industry.

Our next stop was DanceLife Teacher Conference in Scottsdale, AZ where we escaped the heat and enjoyed the conference and expo by talking to new and familiar faces in the industry. It was wonderful getting a chance to bond with fellow vendors and those excited about learning how to make their recitals the most memorable ones yet.

We then travelled to Dance Teacher Web Live Conference at the beautiful Foxwoods Resort in Mashantucket, CT. Surrounded by a beautiful, lush forest – this resort is one of a kind. We featured our Dance Radio backdrop, which has become one of our more popular dance themed backdrops. We loved meeting with so many dance teachers and studio owners from the East Coast. Our favorite discussions were hearing all of the different recital theme ideas and were so inspired by all of the professionals that dare to be different! We’re always welcoming new suggestions and ideas on new backdrops that we can paint to better accommodate all of the trendsetters in the dance industry.

New Hand Painted Backdrops – August 2015

It’s time to showcase what our talented graphic designers and artists have been up to this past month! Our team has been busy designing and hand-painting these beautiful backdrops. We can’t wait to see them at your event, theatrical production, or recital!

Fantasy Village 1 backdrop

Our Fantasy Village 1 backdrop offers an escape from reality and an opportunity to enter a land full of animation and vibrancy. The unique shaped houses, the mountainous scenery, the abstract clouds, and the playful colors highlight each component of the backdrop. Bring an element of fantasy to your affair by showcasing this newly hand-painted backdrop or any of our other fantasy backdrops!

Our Museum 2b backdrop feels as if you have just stepped into a world renowned museum. It is complete with intricate bronze statues, hand-painted portraits along the wall, and a glimpse into the past with skeletal artifacts in the room on the left. This backdrop features great depth perception as the hallway appears long and inviting. The skylight in the middle of the hall illuminates the statue and brings the attention to the marble floor.

Our Train 5 Winter backdrop is one of our newest additions as we are preparing for winter recitals and events. This is the ultimate winter backdrop, accentuating the fast pace of the train amid a snowy day. The beaming lights of the train showcase the essence of witnessing light within the darkness. Backdrops at NACE Experience!

July 22nd, 2015

We’ve heard a few times before that it’s #AllAboutTheNACE & we couldn’t agree more. We travelled to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, which was such a gorgeous resort we never wanted to leave. While we know summer in Arizona is no cool feat, we were excited to escape the heat and enjoy our NACE Experience – with much needed air conditioning. Exhibiting at a resort with so many luscious and prominent palm trees, it seemed fitting to showcase our Stage Showgirls 4 backdrop.

NACE Experience 2015 Backdrop

This backdrop showcases the silhouettes of the dancers and palm trees in a vibrant setting full of fireworks, green foliage, market lights, and a serene water element behind the stage. The array of colors in this backdrop is accentuated through the use of LED lighting shining on the front of the backdrop. It was so much fun to see the colors change and compliment our hand painted backdrop by creating dynamic movement throughout. It felt as if the silhouettes were moving to the music, which showcased the fluidity of our backdrops in motion. This backdrop transformed the room into a slice of tropical paradise.

NACE Experience 2015 backdrop

We had such a great time getting to know the attendees, creating relationships with other vendors and NACE partners, and tasting all of the delicious creations from the catering team! We were lucky enough to be right next to all of the delectable cuisine! Tell me how great those desserts look? We think they’re a perfect pair to our summer inspired backdrop. We love the idea of utilizing a backdrop behind a catering station or dessert table that enhances the theme of the event or type of cuisine that’s being served. The pairing of the catering station and themed backdrop will cohesively amplify the atmosphere of your event. After all, you do eat with your eyes first.

New Hand Painted Backdrops – July 2015

It’s about that time again – our new hand painted backdrops for the month of July! Let’s see what our graphic designers and artists have been up to this past month. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing some flavorful cocktails, a beautiful summer lake landscape, a Hollywood red carpet, and a burning hot volcano! Let’s get to it!

Who doesn’t love a fruity, colorful cocktail? Especially, a complete line up of delicious, radiant refreshments. To me, there’s not a better symbol of summer than a vibrant cocktail on a warm day. There’s something about the way the sun reflects off the drink that brings a smile to my face. Our Celebrate 7 Cocktails backdrop brings this feeling to your special event, no matter what time of year it is!

Our Summer Parklands backdrop creates the essence of summer in any space, whether it be a ballroom, theater production, or dance recital. The luscious trees surrounding the serene lake pop with vibrant colors from a variety of greens, pinks, and yellows. Happy 4th of July!

We would like to wish all of our friends, partners, and customers a very happy, safe, and enjoyable 4th of July! We love celebrating our Independence Day (especially when it makes for a three day weekend!). It is always filled with special time with our family, barbecuing with our friends, and enjoying the fireworks light up the night sky! We enjoy being a part of and seeing so many pictures of all of the July 4th parades that happen from coast to coast. Each city has it’s own unique take on celebrating the 4th of July! It is amazing seeing all of the red, white, and blue flags waving in the air demonstrating pride for this beautiful country.

What is your favorite part of celebrating 4th of July? After spending the entire day celebrating with friends and family, our favorite highlight of the night is getting to experience the beautiful array of firework colors (not only red, white, & blue!). It isn’t an Independence Day celebration without fireworks lighting up the sky and I’m always making sure to get the best seat to do so. This year, I’ll be watching the fireworks over the East River in New York City. Most people escape NYC to celebrate the 4th, so I’m excited to see what it has to offer while most people are away!

Backdrops at BizBashLA!

Did you get a chance to see us at BizBash Los Angeles? We had such a wonderful time exhibiting among all of the other innovative vendors. We enjoy any opportunity to see our partners within the industry and meet new and upcoming event professionals. Connecting with so many professionals within the industry reminded us why we love being at tradeshows, especially in Los Angeles.

We highlighted our 10′ x 10′ Haunted House backdrop as one of our favorite holidays is Halloween (& we remember that even during the summer!). We absolutely love this spooky hand-painted backdrop and the front lighting transformed the backdrop in it’s own distinct way. Remember, front lighting is the way to go in regards to uplighting backdrops! We still celebrated summer by enjoying the beautiful weather in Los Angeles AND extending our Sizzling Summer Sale to all the attendees! We have a wide selection of 10′ x 10′ backdrops that are perfect birthday parties, smaller events, Quinceañeras, bar and bat mitzvahs, Sweet 16 parties, or even photoshoots!

It is amazing to exhibit at all of the BizBash expos from Florida to Los Angeles to New York. Each event is extremely unique and each of the attendees brings a new element to the conversation regarding event design and decor. It was lovely connecting with so many event professionals and discussing new ways to bring backdrops to life at any event, wedding, or special affair.

As we put our Florida and California 2015 BizBash experiences behind us, we are looking forward to what’s next. We cannot wait for the last BizBash expo of 2015 in New York and are thrilled that our East Coast Manager will be there to represent us!
