Backdrop your event and drop the rest!

October 23rd, 2009

We deliver on our promise that our backdrops will transform any given venue! We are in an era where event planners need to think strategically about their events and introduce new ideas to their clients when it comes to décor. With today’s economical climate, every dollar counts. With the proper lighting and a handful of props to highlight your backdrop, you can achieve a first class event on a dime!

Our grading system is straightforward. We ask ourselves if we would use it for our own event. We either feel you can rent the backdrop or you can’t. Instead of grading our backdrops by assigning them a number or a letter and discounting them heavily based on their condition we would rather paint a new backdrop! Our brand is very important to us and we refuse to rent a backdrop that has been damaged. When you rent from us, you will be certain our backdrops are in the best of condition if not new. Why rent old and heavy backdrops? Or why have to pick up your backdrop at another destination when you can have it delivered to your doorstep? Drop the rest and rent from the best, most innovative and creative backdrop company in the industry.

Why do we have digital images of our backdrops online? It’s simple; we offer both digital and hand painted backdrops. We will provide you with pictures of our hand painted backdrops upon request. Needless to say, our backdrops are picture perfect and what you see is what you get. Currently, we are working on having both sets of images on our website to improve your rental experience with us.

Backdrops Beautiful is distinguished from its competition by our commitment to provide high-quality innovative designed backdrops in a variety of categories and offering them at low-cost. We pride ourselves in producing vibrant backdrops and are constantly seeking the latest trends and styles.

Our goal at Backdrops Beautiful is to exceed our customer’s expectation at every point of contact. To meet this goal we must provide high quality backdrops and outstanding customer service. Total customer satisfaction will always be our bottom line!

Atlanta Skyline Backdrop

How many of you watched the Season 2 finale last night of The Real Housewives of Atlanta? It was another exciting episode full of drama as usual and we could not expect any less from the Atlanta Housewives Divas. What did you think of She by Sheree Spring 2010 Collection? Join in on the fun and rate the looks here. We can’t wait to see the reunion episodes. However, the 2 part reunion will not air as previously scheduled on Oct. 29th and Nov. 5th due to the tragic death of Ashley Jewell. We will keep you posted as soon as we find out the dates.

If you enjoy all the parties and glamour on the show why not have a party with your closest friends? You can turn it into a themed party and rock out to “Tardy for The Party” by Kim Zolciak and rent one of our 10 x 10 party themed backdrops. If you want something more in tune to Kim’s pop hit “Tardy for The Party” our neon lights backdrop (4) might be a good choice since it incorporates the high energy remix Kandi Burruss produced or perhaps a fireworks backdrop to celebrate another great season finale.

Or better yet, rent this brand new Atlanta Skyline backdrop (40 x 20) for $750.00 and capture the true glamour of The Real Housewives of Atlanta!

The Prado at Balboa Park – 9th Annual Harvest Festival

October 21st, 2009

The 9th Annual Harvest Festival at The Prado in San Diego, CA was a huge success! The event was first class offering wine tasting from all over the world and great hors d’oeuvre to compliment the wine. The desserts were exquisite filling everyone’s sweet tooth!

This is what David Cohn President & Founder of the Cohn Restaurant Group had to say:

“Thanks Prado Team for the BEST EVER Harvest Festival. You’ve created a beautiful, world class event at The Prado. It was truly amazing, you even ordered fabulous weather. Our Guests seemed to really enjoy themselves and I heard numerous comments that The Prado took the Harvest Festival to a new level this year.”

Our Tuscany 3 backdrop captured everyone’s eye as it was the focal point at the Prado’s Grand Ballroom. Magnificently hung, the attendees were wowed as they entered the theater. Our lighting partners did a wonderful job lighting the backdrop. The scene gradually changed from sunrise to sunset throughout the evening!

UDMA Secaucus, NJ

October 14th, 2009

Backdrops Beautiful would like to thank everyone for stopping by our booth at the UDMA Dance Resource & Costume Show in Secaucus, NJ. The 3 winners of our $300 off backdrop rental raffle will be announced via email.

The Secaucus show was outstanding! Some school owners were so excited when they viewed our highlighted themed backdrops in our brochure that they decided they didn’t want to waste any more time researching for their upcoming dance recitals and booked from us on the spot!

We showcased our Dance Ballerina Backdrop as requested by our customers’. Rather than displaying a digital backdrop, we created a 10 x 10 version of our product to provide customers the opportunity to see, touch and feel the quality of the painted backdrop they will receive upon ordering from us. This backdrop attracts many people because of the vibrant colors and whimsical appeal that can create an impact at any dance recital.

UDMA’s Dance Resource & Costume Show in Atlanta, GA

UDMA Atlanta Booth Sept 2009 (1)

Last week we were greeted with great Southern hospitality while attending the 16th annual UDMA show in Atlanta, GA. Atlanta is a beautiful city with great landmarks and interesting sites such as the Coca Cola Museum, the Birth Home of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Gladys Knight and Ron Winan’s Chicken and Waffles, where we chose to treat ourselves to a delicious meal.

Despite the flood earlier in the week and more rain on Saturday night, there was a good turnout of exhibitors and attendees who consisted mostly of dance instructors who came from all over the state and surrounding states such as South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, and Tennessee to name a few.

We were so pleased to see and speak with so many happy dance teachers, many of whom were customers we had the opportunity to meet for the first time, face-to-face. It was also a chance to say hello to fellow vendors and network with CEO and Publisher Joseph Cote of Dance.com and Dancer Magazine.

At UDMA, we showcased our versatile Candyland backdrop which many responded very favorable to; “WOW!” was the common phrase heard throughout the show. Many commented that our Candyland backdrop was dynamically different in that it popped with vibrant colors and truly captured the theme! When they actually had the opportunity to touch and feel the backdrop, they were impressed with the quality and artistic workmanship.

Thank you UDMA for making last weekend’s Dance Resource & Costume Show at the Gwinnett Center a success.

We are now proud members of UDMA. UDMA_2
