SEAMLESS BLACK SHARKSTOOTH SCRIM
Sharkstooth scrim is an open weave net. The detail in the magnifying glass above shows how the fabric appears close up. When lit properly, sharkstooth scrim can appear either opaque or transparent. A scrim will appear entirely opaque if everything behind it is unlit and the scrim itself is grazed by angled light from the sides or from above. A scrim will appear nearly transparent if a scene behind it is lit, but there is no light on the scrim. A sharkstooth scrim may also be used to achieve the look of depth, as it can creat a "blur" effect on the scene lit behind it.
