This event design took all of the guests directly down the rabbit hole and into a fantasy land of all things Alice! What a playful way to engage the attendees.

Fire and Ice, Hot and Cold. Truly proving that opposites attract. What a unique way to present an array of different types of spicy food and cool, refreshing drinks. Our Fire and Ice backdrop enhanced this area and truly brought their theme to life.

Stage Backdrops to Impress your Audience!

How can you transform your stage to WOW your audience? Selecting the perfect stage backdrops can make all the difference for your production! We went to St. Louis a few weeks ago to showcase our theatrical stage backdrops at USITT 2017! We had an incredible time delving deep into all aspects of Theater and Technology! Check out what we were up to below.

Garden Party - Stage Backdrops

We featured our fun Mad Hatters Tea Party inspired backdrop in the ‘Not So Central Park’ area of the USITT Expo. The Mini Golf stations, the small café, a myriad of benches, and light posts added to the exciting vibe of the area. Our colorful backdrop served as a great background for this park. With its landscape of colorful mushrooms and enchanted trees, this most beautiful whimsical garden brings a fairytale elegance to the scene. Our Alice in Wonderland series features magical and mystical forest with larger than life mushrooms, a fantastical castle courtyard, animated wonderland flowers, and a giant garden.

Umbrellas 4 Rain - Stage Backdrops

At our booth, we showcased our brand new Umbrellas 4 Rain backdrop. The large rain drops amongst the colorful umbrellas and soft cumulus clouds added a unique element to the background. It almost looks as if you are looking out of a rain-covered window to floating umbrellas in the distance.

Beach Boards 3 - Stage Backdrops

Our Beach Board Backdrop adorned the booth of our friends from ENTTEC. After discussing the beach theme of their booth, we designed and painted a brand new backdrop to meet their needs! It truly transformed their booth and added an extra WOW factor to engage the attendees!

Backdrops at The Special Event!

We had the pleasure of exhibiting at #TSE2017 last week! The Special Event show is always one of our favorites. What’s to love more than reconnecting with industry professionals and showcasing your product to new and beloved ones in the event industry? Being at the show re-energizes us and reminds us how lucky we are to be a part of a wonderful community of passionate people. We truly had an incredible time meeting new people, chatting about upcoming design trends in the event industry, and connecting with other exhibitors.

The Special Event 2017 - Skateboard Graffiti

We showcased our Skateboard Graffiti backdrop at our booth, which was such a fun and vibrant background to feature. We brought the theme to life with our wet paint cans, yellow ladder, wet paint sign, and paint brushes all around. So many people stopped by our booth and thought it was an actual wall with graffiti! Can you believe it is hand-painted? The technique, detail, and vibrancy make this backdrop a show stopper.

The Special Event 2017 - Skateboard Graffiti

Yes, we brought a skateboard as a prop! How could we not? & this wonderful attendee stopped by our booth & she was absolutely perfect for the backdrop! Skating around our booth was so much fun. The industrial feel of the street art created a unique atmosphere for all that came by our painted Graffiti Skateboard background. Check out the detail of the brick wall, painted skateboarder and artist, and the different colors featured in the backdrop below!

This backdrop was a part of our Custom Rental Service. A client asked us to design a background for a Bar Mitzvah boy that was passionate about graffiti and skateboarding. Before & After – Booth Transformation!

We’re so excited to relive this booth transformation that happened at BizBashLA last month. So many people ask us how our backdrops can transform a space. We think pictures do us the best justice. While setting up our booth for BizBashLA, we noticed an exhibitor next to us renting casino tables and all the gambling fixings. What a fun concept! We loved seeing their Casino rentals. However, we knew something was missing from their booth. Check out the before picture of ACE High Casino Rentals booth below:

The tables looks great, right? However, the white background completely takes away from their product when it should be enhancing it. With our extensive inventory, we knew we had the perfect Casino backdrop that would transform their booth. We offered to ship our backdrop overnight to be at the show the very next day. ACE High Casino Rentals was more than welcoming to our suggestion. They were eager to see how our backdrop could enhance their booth. Our backdrop arrived in the morning before the Expo. We quickly hung our Casino backdrop at their booth and it was effortlessly transformed. See the after picture below:

It was so fun to see this booth come to life. The vibrant backdrop complemented the Casino tables perfectly. It enhanced their product and easily conveyed to all of the attendees exactly what they do. For us, we love seeing a transformation like this because we’re able to enhance a fellow exhibitors’ booth and convey their product in the best way possible.

This transformation inspires us to continue to create more backdrops. Ones that will enhance many trade shows, events, recitals, and performances to come! Under the Sea Gala @ NACE Experience

Have you ever planned a themed event & thought about an effortless way to instantly transform your space? Maybe you thought that it didn’t exist? Once you see these images from the Under the Sea themed Awards Gala at NACE Experience in Ft. Lauderdale it may change your mind. This was such a stunning event and we are overjoyed that we could be a part of it!

Our Coral Reef Series adorned the walls of the gala creating a the perfect background for the event. Our underwater backdrops complemented the beautiful décor elements, from the furniture (AFR Furniture Rental) to the linens (Creative Coverings) to the bar (Just Bars) and beyond (Quest Drape). The wonderful Susan Jaffe of Pieces of Dreams Events, Chad Everett from Galaxy Productions , and Jamie Oristano from Just Bars  put on this incredible event. The design elements were incredible and theme made the event even that much more fun.

As the night progressed, the lights dimmed and the laser show began in conjunction with the incredible music. It is truly amazing to see how lighting can not only completely alter the mood of the function, but how it can also transform the look of our hand-painted backdrops. We loved witnessing the before and after of how the mood and lighting enhanced this event to the next level.

Coral Reef Backdrop - NACE Experience Gala 2016

The Under the Sea theme was perfect as the NACE Experience Gala was held at the Diplomat Resort and Spa in Hollywood, Florida. This resort is on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean with many of the rooms overlooking the expansive, beautiful ocean. It’s an oasis that instantly makes you feel like you’re on vacation. With the ocean so close, the Under the Sea theme couldn’t be more appropriate. This was such a fabulous night and such an incredible event. It was wonderful to be a part of the Awards Gala and to see so many wonderful people in the industry be honored for their talents! We are so excited to see what NACE has in store for next year at NACE Experience in Houston.

Backdrops @ USITT 2016!

We traveled to Salt Lake City to be a part of one of our favorite theater trade shows, USITT. We loved meeting so many students with passionate aspirations and talented theater directors and stage managers. The heartbeat of the theater industry can be felt through the many USITT Sessions and, of course, on the stage expo floor.

USITT 2016 - Paris Opera House1 backdrop

For the backdrop showcase, we chose to highlight our Paris Opera House backdrop. It showcases the high-detail and intricate work of our designers and artists. This backdrop is truly a show stopper. We were so excited that our hand-painted backdrop was next to the Electronic Theatre Controls booth. We loved the student session ETC held, which educated those passionate about following their dreams of being in the theater industry. USITT 2016 - Haunted House 1 backdrop

Our Haunted House backdrop was an awesome theatrical background to feature at USITT. We had so much fun with featuring this backdrop. So many of the attendees could not believe that it was hand-painted. It is such an inviting, spooky, and colorful backdrop that instantly caught the eye of onlookers. We loved talking to so many lighting designers that provided such positive feedback on how their techniques could enhance our backdrop. It’s so fun to see how the different color lighting can completely transform the look of the backdrop. With one backdrop, you can create multiple different moods depending on the lighting and what is focused on.

We may have even gotten a little silly in front our our backdrop with OSF Costume Rentals. Check out how fabulous their seriously awesome costumes look in front of our hand-painted background.

It was an amazing experience to be surrounded by the best in the theater industry. We’re already looking forward to next year’s USITT show.

Dance is your Art, Backdrops is ours!

Dance 17 Urban Backdrop!

We had such a great time over the last few months traveling all over the states for one of our favorite industries: DANCE! We met so many ambitious, creative, and amiable dance teachers and studio owners during our travels. Our first stop along the Dance wave was Dance Teacher Summit in Long Beach, CA. What a fun vibe to be around so many people that are passionate about dance and are eager to learn about the next best thing in the industry.

Our next stop was DanceLife Teacher Conference in Scottsdale, AZ where we escaped the heat and enjoyed the conference and expo by talking to new and familiar faces in the industry. It was wonderful getting a chance to bond with fellow vendors and those excited about learning how to make their recitals the most memorable ones yet.

We then travelled to Dance Teacher Web Live Conference at the beautiful Foxwoods Resort in Mashantucket, CT. Surrounded by a beautiful, lush forest – this resort is one of a kind. We featured our Dance Radio backdrop, which has become one of our more popular dance themed backdrops. We loved meeting with so many dance teachers and studio owners from the East Coast. Our favorite discussions were hearing all of the different recital theme ideas and were so inspired by all of the professionals that dare to be different! We’re always welcoming new suggestions and ideas on new backdrops that we can paint to better accommodate all of the trendsetters in the dance industry.

Backdrops at NACE Experience!

We’ve heard a few times before that it’s #AllAboutTheNACE & we couldn’t agree more. We travelled to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, which was such a gorgeous resort we never wanted to leave. While we know summer in Arizona is no cool feat, we were excited to escape the heat and enjoy our NACE Experience – with much needed air conditioning. Exhibiting at a resort with so many luscious and prominent palm trees, it seemed fitting to showcase our Stage Showgirls 4 backdrop.

This backdrop showcases the silhouettes of the dancers and palm trees in a vibrant setting full of fireworks, green foliage, market lights, and a serene water element behind the stage. The array of colors in this backdrop is accentuated through the use of LED lighting shining on the front of the backdrop. It was so much fun to see the colors change and compliment our hand painted backdrop by creating dynamic movement throughout. It felt as if the silhouettes were moving to the music, which showcased the fluidity of our backdrops in motion. This backdrop transformed the room into a slice of tropical paradise.

We had such a great time getting to know the attendees, creating relationships with other vendors and NACE partners, and tasting all of the delicious creations from the catering team! We were lucky enough to be right next to all of the delectable cuisine! Tell me how great those desserts look? We think they’re a perfect pair to our summer inspired backdrop. We love the idea of utilizing a backdrop behind a catering station or dessert table that enhances the theme of the event or type of cuisine that’s being served. The pairing of the catering station and themed backdrop will cohesively amplify the atmosphere of your event. After all, you do eat with your eyes first.

Backdrops at BizBashLA!

Did you get a chance to see us at BizBash Los Angeles? We had such a wonderful time exhibiting among all of the other innovative vendors. We enjoy any opportunity to see our partners within the industry and meet new and upcoming event professionals. Connecting with so many professionals within the industry reminded us why we love being at tradeshows, especially in Los Angeles.

We highlighted our 10′ x 10′ Haunted House backdrop as one of our favorite holidays is Halloween (& we remember that even during the summer!). We absolutely love this spooky hand-painted backdrop and the front lighting transformed the backdrop in it’s own distinct way. Remember, front lighting is the way to go in regards to uplighting backdrops! We still celebrated summer by enjoying the beautiful weather in Los Angeles AND extending our Sizzling Summer Sale to all the attendees! We have a wide selection of 10′ x 10′ backdrops that are perfect birthday parties, smaller events, Quinceañeras, bar and bat mitzvahs, Sweet 16 parties, or even photoshoots!

It is amazing to exhibit at all of the BizBash expos from Florida to Los Angeles to New York. Each event is extremely unique and each of the attendees brings a new element to the conversation regarding event design and decor. It was lovely connecting with so many event professionals and discussing new ways to bring backdrops to life at any event, wedding, or special affair.

As we put our Florida and California 2015 BizBash experiences behind us, we are looking forward to what’s next. We cannot wait for the last BizBash expo of 2015 in New York and are thrilled that our East Coast Manager will be there to represent us!
